Dental Cleaning Proper dental care can add 5 years to the life of
your pet. It is often the most overlooked proceedure to maintain the
health of pets. It prevents bad breath, periodontal disease and
infections from transferring through the blood stream. Dr. Sara can
perform a throrough cleaning of your pet's teeth and then we'll
give you a free in-home teeth brushing kit to maintain your pet's

The basis for preventative healthcare. We recommend complete physical exams once per year.
Our exams cover a complete "Nose to Tail" inspection including; eyes, ears, mouth, teeth,
lymph nodes, heart, lungs, skin, abdomen palpation, joints and nails. Additionally, we include
a discussion of current history and behavior including; elimination habits, general disposition,
behavior and training concerns.

We offer risk assessment and prevention for viral and bacterial disease your pet may encounter
in their environment. Every pet is subject to different risks and we help you determine which
vaccines are appropriate for your individual pet. Vaccine schedules vary by risk, breed, age
and can include, but not limited to, protection from Rabies (legally mandatory), Distemper,
Hepatitis, Parvovirus, Bordatella(kennel cough), Lyme's disease, Parasitic worms, Feline
Leukemia and Feline AIDS.

We offer two permanent pet identification services (may also be used for lifetime pet licensing).
1. A permanent tattoo can be placed on the inner, back thigh and is usual performed at the time
of spay or neuters.
2. A grain-sized Microchip can be implanted between the shoulder blades and contains a unique
number identifying your pet. In the case of a lost pet, registered shelters know to look for these
identification methods and can contact you though a database. It is imperative that you keep your
records up to date in the county where the tattoo or microchip was received.
