Financial Policy

Timberview Veterinary Hospital’s standard is to provide the best quality health care for your pets. This high standard of care applies to every aspect of our hospital from our staff to our modern facility and equipment. We have a pharmacy, on-site laboratory, surgery and x-ray suites in addition to the exam rooms and reception area. This high standard of care can be costly considering we do not receive any support from charitable organizations or from the government.

We always try to provide you with the best recommendations regarding the health of your pet. We encourage you to discuss fees with our staff before services are rendered. We are happy to provide you with a written treatment plan with costs listed at your request. As policy we always provide a written treatment plan when possible. All treatment plans are estimates with 80% accuracy based on our experiences. If financial restrictions apply we attempt to provide an alternative plan when possible. We have no desire to extend any client beyond his/her financial means.

Timberview Veterinary Hospital offers special discount pricing for pet owners over the age of 62 and for active or retired military pet owners (with a military ID). Please ask a staff member for more information regarding these discounts.

All professional service fees, routine service fees and products must be paid in full at the time of service or at time of discharge from the hospital. These include but are not limited to the following:

Prescriptions

Treatments/medications
Diagnostics

Boarding
Hospitalization
Euthanasia/Cremation

Because we provide a combination of routine and urgent care services throughout the week including weekday, weekend and holidays, we have varying exam fees. These fees range from new patient exams, routine and sick exams, urgent care exams and Sunday or holiday exams.

*** All cash payments will result in a 5% decrease in the amount owed (5% off the amount paid in cash only) This is so we can help defray the cost of caring for your pet in the absence of credit card charges.

Personal checks require a driver's license for verification
All checks returned unpaid for any reason will incur a $ 35.00 processing fee

At the time of admission for any unplanned /emergency hospital patient or for boarding, we do require a deposit of 50% of the high-end treatment plan estimate in order to help defray hospital cost while your pet is with us.
